Learn to swim in our flagship venue. Splash Swim School started in Club Vitae (the hotel’s leisure centre) and it’s where all our planning goes on behind the scenes. We’re proud to provide top-quality, small-group swimming lessons for all ages and stages here in Sligo.
The pool at the Clayton Hotel is 20m long and 1.4 m deep. This depth is perfect for learners of all ages and stages. The water is a comfortable 30 degrees in temperature which is ideal for learning and practising.
To access Club Vitae, follow the driveway around the right-hand side of the hotel until you reach a car park. Take the steps down from the car park to the leisure centre entrance.
Parking is free of charge in the leisure centre’s spacious car park. If you prefer, you can park at the front of the hotel and make your way to the pool on foot.
Limited viewing is available from the reception area. However, you can rest assured that your child will be expertly supervised by their instructor. As well as this, we’ll make sure to contact you straight away if your child needs you for any reason. Of course, we’re always happy to chat with you about your child’s swimming progress. The pool at the Clayton Hotel offers separate male and female open-plan changing facilities. Lockers, toilets and shower facilities are available in each area.
